Tara Rynders, MFA, BSN, BA, RN

Tara has been a registered nurse for over 20 years. She has a Bachelors degree in Nursing, a Bachelors in Spanish, and a Masters in Fine Arts with specialization in Movement and Somatic Practices. Tara is also a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, and a Fulbright nurse researcher. She founded The Art and Heart of Healthcare 10 years ago to create systemic change in healthcare.

Dr. Clare Hammoor

Dr. Clare has been creating spaces of joy, healing, and play in prisons and hospitals for over 15 years. He holds a Masters and Doctorate in Applied Theatre from New York University and is an ordained interfaith minister. Clare has been working with Art and Heart of Healthcare for nine years. He has also led workshops and given lectures on play and trauma-informed care internationally.

Lead Facilitator

Ashley Cornelius, LPC

Ashley is a nationally recognized poet and workshop facilitator. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holds a Masters in International Disaster Psychology from the University of Denver. Ashley was recently the manager of the RISE program at Denver Health, providing confidential peer support to Denver Health personnel.
